I love The Saturdays.
Oh my word, yesterday I managed to meet them and luckily for me I was surprisingly calm. Got there around 1.30pm and saw all the merchandise being unloaded so the guy sold us our programmes there and then. I did ask if we could buy all our merchandise now but we were greeted with “Fuck off”. Lovely man :). Met Hannah and Ant who are lovely. Around 3pm all bar Una arrived, Vanessa had her hood and shades on and was ushered straight in under a bodyguard. Mollie said hello to us, Rochelle didn’t and Frankie said “We’ll be out in a bit guys!” to which I in my very polite mood shouted “Thank you!” and then felt an idiot.
Around half 3-ish, the tour manager came out and gave us ‘freshly signed’ Rare promotional cards as he didnt think there’d be time for them to come out, but Una’s signature was on there too so OBVIOUSLY they were just hanging around with them back stage. Around 4ish Mollie came out to see us, then about 10 minutes later Frankie did too. Una pulled up in her car a bit later and as she was coming in, Rochelle came out with her hair in rollers. Did wait a bit longer for Ness just in case but I was in doubt of that happening after her entrance so we went to get food and queue.
I spent £126 on merchandise - I’m appalled with myself. It was all too irresistable. The gig was absolutely awesome. I have no voice left now and the crowd was deafening during the “Do you want more?” section. And the flip videos were hilarious, I’ve never seen any flip videos so far because my computer runs slowly so I know what I’ve been missing out on. Highlights were Chasing Lights and Up.
